Our “Why”!

Someone asked, “Why” open a gym”? Why keep it open after a pandemic”?

This is our “WHY”! These are the reasons we opened and the reasons we continue to stay open.

Our purpose is to help others reach their goals and do things they never imagined possible. The joy our clients feel when they achieve a goal gives us an indescribable sense of fulfillment.

We want to help and support others, build a community for all to feel safe and secure, and elevate and empower our fitness family to become the best version of themselves.

Does Liting Make Women Bulky?

There are tons of myths concerning women and weightlifting, but the biggest one is that lifting heavy weights will make women bulky. This is FALSE!

Women don’t naturally produce large amounts of testosterone, the hormone needed to build bulky muscles. The bodybuilding women that people associate with weight lifting are often taking testosterone boosting supplements, eating a very specific diet, and have worked out for thousands of hours to achieve that physique. Women weight lifting without those intense components would not see the “bulky” muscles that many people think about but would become leaner, stronger, and more toned.

Many benefits of weight lifting for women often get overlooked. Adding weight/ resistance while exercising can help to increase metabolism and bone density, strengthen joints, tendons, and ligaments, as well as aid in weight loss.



 

What is reverse planning ???

Reverse planning is the process that starts with the end goal/product in mind.

You then work backwards to develop a plan of action.
